Algarve Casa Maria’s website respects your privacy. We will not collect personal information without your clear permission. Any information you volunteer will be treated with the highest standards of security and confidentiality. The aim of this Website Privacy Policy is to set out how the company uses personal data which visitors provide when visiting this website. We aim to communicate our Website Privacy Policy in simple terms but, inevitably, some technical terms have to be used. If you are not happy with this policy you should not use this website. 

Collection of data
We collect two types of information:
· Personal data
This is data that identifies you or can be used to identify or contact you. Such data includes your name, address, telephone number and email address and is only collected from you if you voluntarily submit it to us.
· Non-personal data 
Like most websites, our site. gathers statistical and other analytical information collected on an aggregate basis of all visitors to our website. This non-personal data comprises information that cannot be used to identify or contact you, such as demographic information regarding, for example, user Internet Protocol addresses and other anonymous statistical data involving the use of our website. This website does not use cookies, apart from temporary "session" cookies which enable a visitor's web browser to remember which pages on this website have already been visited. We undertake not to disclose personal or technical information about visitors to any third party (apart from our Internet Service Provider, which records such data and which is bound by confidentially provisions), unless in direct connection with the service requested 

Electronic newsletter
We will publishe an electronic newsletter and we will complie with best practice in eMarketing. This measure is a further safeguard against possible abuse of the subscriber list by third parties. You can unsubscribe at any time by a simple one-click process. We will then confirm that you have left our list. 

Your personal data is held on secure servers hosted by our Internet Service Provider. The nature of the Internet is such that we cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us via the Internet. No data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. However, we will take all reasonable steps to protect your personal data.

Updating, verifying and deleting personal data
You may inform us of any changes in your personal data, and in accordance with our obligations under the Data Protection Acts 1988 and 2003 we will update or delete your personal data accordingly. Sale of Business
Algarve Casa Maria reserves the right to transfer information (including your personal data) to a third party in the event of a sale, merger, liquidation, receivership or transfer of all or substantially all or part of the assets of our company. We would do so provided that the third party agrees to adhere to the terms of this Website Privacy Policy and provided that the third party only uses your personal data for the purposes that you provided it to us. You will be notified in the event of any such transfer and you will be afforded an opportunity to opt-out.

Changes to this Website Privacy Policy
Any changes to this Website Privacy Policy will be posted on this website so you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. If at any time we decide to use personal data in a manner significantly different from that stated in this Website Privacy Policy, or otherwise disclosed to you at the time it was collected, we will notify you by email, and you will have a choice as to whether or not we use your information in the new manner.

Refund Policy
We ask for a 25% deposit at the time of booking with the balance invoiced six weeks prior to arrival. These amounts are not refundable unless agreed.

A €300 fully refundable damage deposit is required on arrival. The deposit is refundable after satisfactory inspection. In case any problem arises, this amount will be deducted of any extra charges or damages. This amount just pretends to disincentive an irresponsible use of the villa and all its appliances, furniture, etc. It does not take responsibility away from any misuse.

Cancellation Policy 
We do not accept cancellations. Although, in certain cases and if we manage to find another customer to come during the booked date, for the same price, we may return some or the totality of the amount. Each case has to be addressed particularly.
